Heâ??s got rare ability that heâ??s been blessed with, but heâ??s not the first person thatâ??s been blessed with a lot of ability and not really done something with it so heâ??s got some other qualities that allow him to play the way he does, certainly his passion for the game is incredible. Heâ??s been a real joy to coach. Heâ??s been working on his craft, probably more so that he ever has. I think he has a really good understanding of the offense, more so than he ever has. Now itâ??s just a component of being able to perform at a consistent level week in and week out, and thatâ??s really hard to get to. Itâ??s one thing to go out and have a great game then the next game you go out and disappear. We have to be able to perform consistently week in and week out. The second thing with Dez is I think itâ??s important that he embraces a leadership role on this team. Heâ??s in his fourth year. Heâ??s one of our star players. He can have an incredible impact on people in a positive way. He has such great energy on the field so itâ??s very important he recognizes the kind of influence he has on our team and embrace it.â??
